Hello
Everything looks to be ok except the images
By default Polylang does not duplicate the content page.
So all media added by the button “Add media” must be added *manually* in the translation.
“Featured image” is duplicate automatically.
You can synchronize the “Featured image”: i.e: you remove an image in your original version, this image will be remove in all translations.
To add this option go in Settings > Language > Synchronization: check “Featured image”.
Hello Chrysti. Thanks for the answer. That means if I have a [gallery link="file" ids="id1,id2, e.t.c."] I must re-incert to each language page following Add media>create gallery or incert media>upload files? and that means the same images will be as many as the languages are? Kind regards.
[gallery link="file" ids="id1,id2, e.t.c."]
In each translation you can paste it your gallery short code/html code in the text tab.
It will work at only one condition: your medias must not be translated.
I do not translate the media. Media will be the same. Only other content like text, links e.t.c. will be tranlated. But copying/pasting the [gallery link="file" ids="id1,id2, e.t.c."] it is not appearing. It is only appearing in the first /default language. Do you know where is the problem?
I don’t reproduce such issue pasting the code in the Text tab for post and page.
Your medias were certainly translated before.
Even you uncheck the option “Activate languages and translations for media” (Languages > Settings) Polylang remembers the translations.
Make the test: upload new medias, do not translate them, add them in a post. Create a translation of this post. Paste in the text tab the medias code.
I uncheck the option “Activate languages and translations for media” and the problem solved. Copying/Pasting the [gallery link="file" ids="id1,id2, e.t.c."] as well texts, links (manualy translated and changed) appearing in the two language. All the best. Thanks
