Send to editor?

    I have just installed WordPress 2.2.1. When trying to add a photo, I can upload but when I try to ‘send to editor’ it just does nothing. Also the editing tools (bold, italic etc.) under Visual are not there. When I click ‘send to editor’ I get a browser error, ‘bad server response’.

    I checked the manual and confirmed that the content folders had the correct permissions set.

    I also deleted the database and reinstalled WordPress with the same results.

    Using MySql 4.1.22 and PHP 4.3.11

    Any help would be appreciated. I went through the forums and see that many people have the same problem but no overall solution. Thanks. -dr
