• On http://www.crenext.com/seo, there is the following code:

    <a href="http://www.crenext.com/seo/#Introduction">Introduction - I am new to SEO.</a>

    <a href="http://www.crenext.com/seo/#Intermediate">Intermediate - I know what SEO is but I need to learn.</a>

    <a href="http://www.crenext.com/seo/#Advanced">Advanced - Tell me advanced techniques.</a>

    <h3 id="Introduction">Introduction</h3>

When I clicked on “Preview Changes” in WordPress 4.1.1 and test the link for “Introduction”, “Intermediate”, or “Advanced”, then the link goes to the saved page instead of the link where the id is. So while I can preview changes, I cannot test the internal link. It could be an additional feature for WordPress users or a bug.

Is the issue on the live site? I can’t see it.

No sir not on the live site. When I initially wrote the code and clicked on “Preview Changes”, the page showed properly. However, in “Preview Changes”, when I clicked on “Introduction”, “Intermediate”, or “Advanced”, the links took me to the old site. So I couldn’t test whether those links worked. Then when I clicked on “Update”, and I clicked on those links, it worked. It could be an additional feature for WordPress users or a bug.

I think you’ll need to troubleshoot this before coming to those conclusions. Let’s wait for someone to help.

However, in “Preview Changes”, when I clicked on “Introduction”, “Intermediate”, or “Advanced”,

Where or what gives you those choices?
