Hi Diane,
I’m also seeing construction mode from my Iphone, but not on desktop. Are you sure there wasn’t a mobile setting in the construction plugin that could be causing this? If so you would need to reactivate the plugin and make sure that is switched off.

Well I reinstalled and reactivated the plugin to look to see if there is anything related to mobile devices. I didn’t see anything. I have the plugin set to off, but still am in construction mode only on the phone I would like to totally delete the plugin, but even that didn’t help previously. I’ve read some issues with the Wp construction plugin where people have lost their site and data so I’m hesitant to make changes without advice. Thank you for your assistance.

Are you using a caching plugin? If so, try deactivating it. You can reactivate once this issue is fixed.

Deactivated WP super cache. Still same problem
Did your turn the caching off before deactivating?

That did it! I went back in and turned off caching then deactivated my WP super cache plugin.
Then I went back into the construction plugin….turned it on and then turned it off. This was the plugin that was originally giving me a problem….the WP Construction Plugin, but now I’m hesitant to use it. Thank you so much for your assistance. BTW, if I turn my caching back on, the phone goes back to construction mode….I’m hoping that caching isn’t critical because I’ll have to leave it off!
If you turn the caching on and clear it it still does this? Even with the maintenance plugin deactivated?

Just checked it again when I saw your message and now it’s good with caching on. I tend to have odd issues, but they work themselves out! Thank you again.
