Slider image size problem

I tried everything in the admin area but it doesn’t seem to work, half the image is cut off from middle up.

The image is sized to 1200×250 at 72 dpi in photoshop.

In the admin I have the following:

1- Full width slider (unchecked)
2- Set slider’s height in pixels to 250 Pix
3- Apply this height to all sliders (checked)
4- slider’s height (checked) but doesn’t matter checked or not

I tried every combination possible but I could not get the image to appear, if I set item 2 above to unchecked the image will appear but it will appear as 500 pixel (stretched)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
