@agreda – I’m not seeing this issue, perhaps you can check if this still happens if you temporarily switch to a default WordPress Twenty series theme?
Thanks!

@photocrati Thank you for the quick response.
This may indeed be theme related, but interestingly the issue only occurs with previously published posts lacking a featured image. The option to set NGG Featured Image works for new posts.
@agreda – Admittedly I did not check “older” posts when I previously looked at this issue but I am still not seeing any problem on my test sites with default WordPress Twenty series themes or any other themes I test with.

I am noticing this behavior as well on my site. I use the Photocrati theme but I like the NextGen Gallery image management system just a little better than the system that comes in Photocrati. Just today I noticed that previous posts in my blog that did not have featured images in place were not showing up with the NGG featured image option. However, new blog posts have the ability to add NGG featured images. This behavior happens no matter if I use the Photocrati theme or the WordPress Twenty series themes.
I know Photocrati doesn’t support featured images at this time (I really want it to), but I add the featured image option anyway in hopes the theme will support them in the next release.
Thanks.
