I got the same problem. I’m working on my website for weeks now with this plgin up to date. But today, don’t know why, I working on the design of a page and suddenly I’m out of the admin.
I try to login again, it work. But when I want to go the the admin, I’m redirect to the homepage and I’m disconnect.
I renamed the folder of the better-security in wp-content and then I can connect.
No error message, just a disconnection.

I have enabled SSL recently. I forgot the correct setting in the administration wordpress: Settings – General – wordpress URL. I had previously: http://mysite.it now I https://mysite.it
Before you upgrade everything worked well. When I upgraded I Themes I got the error. Your plugin has seen good and rightly so!
