BackupWordPress still active after removing pluhin | WordPress.org

Hi,

It seems that BackupWordpress is still active, after removing the plugin (removed it using the WP dashboard).

Because of this there’s to much data traffic right now. I need to fix this a.s.a.p., what do I need to do to remove the plugin properly?

Hi Laurens,

Did you receive my email regarding this issue?

If not, if the plugin is still on your server you’ll need to FTP into your site and remove the BackUpWordPress folder from your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.

How are you tracing the data traffic to BackUpWordPress? And is there currently a backup being performed on your site?
