Word and Excel Format during Copy – Paste

    Dear Team

    I have 100 of pages in MS Word and MS Excel. They are very well formatted.

    However, when I do copy-paste in WordPress blog [having TinyAdvance enabled], It does not carry all format. IT looses colors , borders etc

    May I know what configuration changes I need to make it to work?

    Do I need to make changes into ” paste_retain_style_properties” or [[ theme_advanced_buttons3_add : “pastetext,pasteword,selectall”, ]] somewhere?

    You would probably want to try few options in order to get the “cleanest” HTML out of Word/Excel. Depending on your version, maybe try saving as .html files, then opening them again and then copy/paste. Another option is to save as .html, then open in a text editor, then copy & paste in the WordPress Text editor. However in that case the HTML code will not be cleaned up and may not look properly on your site.

    I used “ASAP utilities” and converted selection Cells in HTMl. Move that HTML into blog.
