    Hi all,

    Thanks for your time reading my enquiry.

    I’ve been looking for a solution in regards to font color in specific places. I’m sorry that I don’t know the name of technical terms for this. Please open my website iquotewisdom.com, and you’ll see grey fonts under sidebar: Find me, Recent posts, Comments. I’d like to change these grey fonts into white, did numerous setting in style & typography (color) but didn’t work so I’d like to ask you for a help.

    I did get fast & best responses in this support forum previously so I really thank you guys for helping out.

    Warm regards,
    Sandika

    Hi Sandika,
    Try pasting this in your custom css box in theme options > advanced settings:

    .sidebar a {
    color: #fff;
    }

    Hope that helps!

    Dear Hannah,

    Thank you. I’m improvising with color too – so I will give it a try & will update here. I do have another question on why I failed to upload pic from my computer to WP – not sure if this is good if i post it here but thanks so much if I can get any help.

    Thanks so much & care,
    Sandika

    Did you get an error message when you tried to upload?

    Dear Kadence,

    Yes, it is a mess now.
    1. Now I can’t upload picture from my computer when posting.
    2. When my iquotewidom.com/wp-admin/ is ON, my newly-edited main page is ON. But when iquotewidom.com/wp-admin/ is OFF, my main page is back to the old one (the page from other menu is in the newly-edited format color).

    This happens after I made a change to the mainpage outlook & color.
    Do you think I make mistake on anything? Do really need a help.

    Thanks so much,
    Sandika

    Try deactivating plugins one by one and see if that fixes it.

    All deactivated & still no change.

    New post not shown in main page.
    New color not shown in main page.
    Can’t upload pic from my computer.

    Will try & try.

    + information: I can see my new post on main page via smart phone – still don’t know why.

    I’m seeing a post from Feb 17. Is that the latest? You could just need to clear your cache.
    As for pictures not uploading, if it isn’t a plugin issue you should try contacting your host.

    Nope-that’s not the latest. The latest are map & Anaximander. I did clear cache & contact my host – all unsuccessful. I’m still trying to keep this Virtue – love it. But, do you think changing the theme would solve all this? Thank you 🙂

    + all freezes. Can’t update/make any change/setting on anything after logging out from iquotewisdom.com/wp-admin/ :(.

    Hey,
    You are using super cache which means that every time you make a change you have to go into the plugin settings and delete the cache.

    What error do you get when you try to upload from your computer.

    If you are locked out of your site then you need to contact your host, something with the server isn’t working right.

    Certainly try a different theme to test but seeing as your the only one with this upload issue I can’t image it’s a theme issue.

    Dear Kadence & Hannah,

    Thank you for your advice. I disabled the drop-ins for the updating problems. And changing the permission on file manager to 777 to be able uploading again. There are many things I could learn from this forum. Thanks so much for everything.

    Best,
    Sandika
