Slider Disappearing

    On lakecountyschools.net the slider disappears without reason. I have disabled all plugins and it did not come back, I have changed the number on the featured post within theme options, nothing. I have checked the featured.php and change the slider from true to false and back again, nothing. I have checked the most recent posts and doesn’t change. I am stuck and I need a solution for this asap. The slider works on the other school sites, they are not child themes. I am stuck and need help. Thanks

    Hi wakesnowlife. The flexslider and all the slides are in the page content. My guess is there’s a problem that’s not allowing jquery to load before the slider is generated. Since the slider depends on jquery, it’s not displayed. I don’t have a definitive answer but here are a couple of thoughts:
    1. You might try tuning, or even disabling, PageSpeed and see if that fixes it.
    2. There might be some sort of caching conflict between PageSpeed and WP Super Cache.

    I have pagespeed and wp super cache turned off and it is still not working. I will test again and post if anything changes. Thanks
