    Hi Jeremy,

Awesome plug-in! Just What I was looking for!
This may be a stupid question but how is it possible to change the time that the next day’s ‘design’ is shown? Currently it switched over form one day to the next at midnight GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). Im located -6 hours, so need the turn of day to occur then. I have changed the time of my website in the WP setting but nothing has changed.

    Many thanks!
    Ben

Good deal on solving your issue.

The next day is shown based on your hosting server’s time, well really more what PHP itself is using. Some hosts allow you to set custom PHP settings in the .htaccess file or have your own php.ini file for your account. That is where you would need to edit the time to have the plugin display the next day. Obviously in your case the server must be set to GMT.

You do raise an interesting idea of making it based on WordPress’ internally set time. It is actually very easy to do. Hmmmm……

Okay version 1.6 now bases the day change from the WordPress timezone.

    Jeremy,
Sorry its been a while, i couldn’t get the switchover to work by fiddling with the php.ini o the .htaccess file. But….the new update works a dream! I think it will be a lot more user friendly too!

    Good work sir!

    Thanks again

I am glad to hear it worked out for you. I thought about adding that feature awhile ago. Yeah the php.ini and .htaccess method depend on your hosting setup. If you are running a dedicated server or VPS it is easy to change the timezone but for shared/virtual hosting it isn’t always possible.

At any rate enjoy the plugin if you get the time I always appreciate reviews. 🙂
