I think the problem you are experiencing is actually due to the post titles, not the tags.

Notice that the Action links wrap to the next line because they cannot fit inline in the table cell.
I will be thinking about a creative solution to this problem, but it might just be a natural limitation of only being able to compact the information to a certain point on smaller screens. On wider screens the post title length matters less: http://note.io/1znWrCM

In the Tag-column you do not have the Tag-Names, but the number of Tags.
