Google Analytics problems

I recently downloaded the Google Analytics plugin and it doesn’t seem to be running. I get this message on all my pages
“Please configure your Google Analytics settings!”
I went through the process; copy and pasted the code; but nothing seems to work. The warning message comes up every time. Any ideas?
