URL goes to wordpress installation??

    Hi all,

    I’m very very confused. A few weeks ago, I purchased my URL with 123-reg, and hosting with webhostingpad. I created a temporary wordpress site, and as it wasn’t finished, I added a “work in progress” page. I tested my URL out and it came up, so I thought all was good.

    I’ve come back to do more work a couple of weeks later and when I log into wordpress, my theme I made has reverted back to the old wordpress I first tried to make. It’s as if what I did a couple of weeks ago never saved?? Then when I enter my URL http://www.meganthorne.co.uk, it takes me straight to a wordpress installation page!?? I’m so confused.

    With my dashboard not showing my latest things I thought maybe I created a new wordpress login, but I doubt I would have done that.

    Can anyone please help?

    Using the link you’ve provided in your post I get a ‘is coming soon’ message…

    Is it possible that you’ve installed WordPress in a sub folder rather than the root?

    I just went to your link and it seems to have a COMING SOON page… so is this resolved?
