excerpt field in backend editor

    the language buttons in the backend editor don’t switch the excerpt field. the content of the excerpt field is unfiltered. (with language comments)

    filtering of the_excerpt() on frontend works. also the description fields of taxonomies are working.

    (latest dev version, wp 4.1, no plugins, twenty fifteen)

    @side777,

    I enter “excerpt” attribute under Settings – Languages – Advanced Settings – Custom Fields id for the excerpt.

    The language buttons in the backend editor also switch the excerpt field.

    thanks, @gunu! that was easy…

    this should be default, though. the excerpt is also part of the revision page and it IS filtered there…! (the title is not, btw.) @john?
