listing.php conflict
-
Hi – I purchased the pack of all Genesis child themes a while back and have been very happy. I am currently developing a site that has two listing plugins – Wp-Listings for real estate listings and Web 2.0 Directory for real estate agent directory listings.
Both plugins appear to allow renaming of the “listing” slug. In WP-Listings I have set Listings post type slug to private-listings and in Web 2.0 directory I set the Directory Title = “Trust Verified Agent Directory”.
The single agent listing URL
http://myhomeranger.com/trust-verified-agent-directory/gloria-gonzalez/ displays correctly with WP-listings deactivated.IF I enter http://myhomeranger.com/LISTING/gloria-gonzalez/ it redirects to http://myhomeranger.com/trust-verified-agent-directory/gloria-gonzalez/, indicating that it is still using the listing or single-listing template not the Trust-verified-agent-directory template.
When I activate WP-Listings I also relabel the permalink from the default “listing” to “private-listings”.
http://myhomeranger.com/private-listings/ will display archive BUT http://myhomeranger.com/LISTING/ also redirects to archive. The site is myhomeranger.com and is built on Genesis. Thanks in advance for any suggestions on how to resolve by renaming or moving the single.php template (I think).
Thanks in advance.
