• also, like most i guess, im new to wordpress (from MT). i have searched previous posts re sideblogging, but really couldnt work things out right. i was running one on my MT setup, using http://www.scriptygoddess.com/archives/004014.php as reference, and it worked seamlessly.
ive already setup a new WP blog, and got it working without CSS styling, so its pretty bare-bones looking. thing is, the posts go way over the sidebar border, even though i am using a <div class=”side”> tag. im thinking its not mt template structure, since my blogroll doesnt screw up. any suggestions?

  • Hey — I want to know if anyone can help with something similar too.
Let’s say we have 3 columns.
left col == post titles from category A
middle col == n posts from all other categories != category A
right col == standard nav stuff
Am I simply thinking the wrong way with regard to what WP can do? In MT this is dead simple given the richness and flexibility of the template tags. I know it must be dead simple with PHP too…
So the question is, can WP template tags allow for this or do I need to start learning more PHP?
I actually started the move from MT so I’d be forced to learn more PHP… Thanks.
