a way to get archives to display, and STAY on a al

    Hi all, i really want this to happen so someone please help me.
    I want to create a page to display my archives and only my archives.
    i got the page set up, and i got the months listed, but when ever i click on a month to display the posts from that month, redirects and displays my archives on my index.php.
    is there a way to keep my archives off my main page, and keep them on my archive page?
