Did the Text editor tab work when *all* of the plugins were deactivated?
Also, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
Hey James thank you for responding
Early when i tried it with all plugin deactivated it did not work.now it is working with all plugins activated however the visual tab is not greyed out,i did the same thing, deactivated them all, tried them one by one to no avail, and tried it with them all deactivated..very weird
i am having some serious issues with the theme i am using, this site is for my uncle and my aunt wanted this paid for theme,it costed them 50$ but it had a few key problems,i emailed the author for support, just having a number of headaches and i been trying to talk them into letting me redo it with a free theme(they came to me after the first guy told them he wont do it anymore)but she is stuck on this theme,so i am at a crossroad and dont know what to do
Does it work when the Twenty Fifteen theme is activated?
lol it works fine in the twenty fifteen theme
http://www.bucktaylor.com is the site and the theme is ceasare by dutchthemes
i keep trying to talk them into letting me switch themes, its a learning process for both of us.I am a college student for computer networking and i have took a few web and html classes but for the life of me i just cant figure out why this theme is having so many issues..how would you puresade your family to pick a different theme?
i would have saved so much time by now lol
Yeah, it’s definitely the theme then. You’ll need to keep working with their support on that, or pick a different theme (which is what I’d do). 🙂
haha thats what im saying it has to be the theme
i want to use another theme because the support just sucks,im trying to convince them to use another theme
Best of luck on that! 🙂
Maybe send them to https://wordpress.org/themes/tag-filter/
