I am trying to figure out the syntax for the wp-crontrol plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-crontrol/

it has:

Hook Name:
Arguments:
Next Run:
Event Schedule:

I do not know what is the syntax to put for Arguments?

I have tried several different ways, but no go.

Could you please guide how to set it up?

in the hook, do I enter:

?pipes=cron&task=callaio

pipes=cron&task=callaio

task=callaio

callaio

I am not sure what triggers the hook to execute the cron.

kindly advise and oblige.

So, I have added this in the functions.php

/*
* Loads the Cron Job for WP-Pipes
* 2/5/2015
*/

add_action( ‘wp_pipes_cron_hook’, ‘wp_pipes_cron_function’ );
function wp_pipes_cron_function() {
wp_remote_get(‘http://www.mydomainname.com/?pipes=cron&task=callaio’);
}

and I have added a wp_pipes_cron_hook as a hook in the cron job.

and I get nothing.

Please advise.

Hi,

Because I do not know about https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-crontrol/ so I can not give you any advises.

Currently, there are only 2 ways for setting cronjob with WPPipes:

1. cronjob commands from server, please refer this http://foobla.com/kb/obgrabber/4983-setup-server-side-cronjob-for-obgrabber
2. by itself
