I am a software developer and for the life of me. I cannot find how to implement the category slider. Is there a shortcode? Is there a widget? the installation has all of 2 lines. HOW DOES ONE IMPLEMENT IT?. Not in the installation notes or the settings, the developers niotes or this site that I can find. Please help! I’ll bet it is hiding under my nose.

  • Hi GregTheGuru,
It’s being implemented automatically on Parent Category page.

    IMPORTANT:
Please note, this plugin adds sliders on the top of WooCommerce Parent Category Page, there will not be any slider on a Product Category Page which doesn’t have more than 4 subCategories (for layout #1) and more than 8 subCategories (for layout #2).

Thank you for the help. It turns out I didn’t know there were shortcodes for the pages. I struggled with displaying it until I created a catalog page and added “[product_categories]” then it worked fine. Again thank you

I just want to add this to the homepage only. Can this be done?

    Hi jdelahoz,
There is not such an option by now, we’re currently working on that, it’ll available in next release very soon.

    Hello,

Is there any short code to add this slider of categorys to home page ?

    thx

    Hi finja,
We’re currently working on this feature, we’ll release the new version this week.

Any progress on the homepage feature? Would be awesome to be able to select a category and add it with a shortcode.

    Thanks,
    Barry
