• Hello,

I manage to create a website and now it’s up and live on internet . I made the website useing wordpress and xampp for hosting . I send all the content to the hosting server provider that i’m using .
After the propagation of the website i notice in cpanel i have the wordpress option plugin . So now i want to install the wordpress plugin to do some finising touches to my website , but i want to install wordpress over my actual website so i still have the interface of wordpress in my cpanel.
Is there any way to do that ?

    Thank you.

  • Your wording has confused me, but I suspect you are speaking of some cPanel WordPress installation features, which I would avoid using in your situation.

What you want is called Moving WordPress, which is documented here:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress

If you get this plugin to work for you, (it can be tricky in certain situations), it is the easiest way to do a Move:

So the thing is that . I create a website with wordpress localy .
Then i use a host server to put in on the internet.
And then i want to use all the interface settings from wordpress to edit my website while he is live on internet .
    This make more sense?

Duplicator gonna help you. just add that plugin in the wordpres you have created on local and back up all files by using duplicator. Duplicator will ask you in which domain you want to back up. just type there your domain 🙂
