You can definitely share the links to any even on your calendar on social media. If you prefer handy buttons to make it easy for your users to share those links, there a number of social sharing plugins out there that will add those buttons to posts including WP Custom Post Types like ours. Some of them offer a shortcode you could paste inside the event details area, others offer PHP code that you could integrate into a theme override for our plugin, and thus place it anywhere on any of our pages.
