Moving wordpress from one folder to another

Hi all,
My question is… could I possibly move my word press installation from let’s say folder A on my server to a new folder in my server folder B without having any login errors. I’ve tried already by just copying all the word press contents to a new folder but unable to login. I’m guessing I may have to edit some config files before I can login again and use my word press installation in my new folder?
