Since we determined that a previous hot fix was not part of the issue, I’m going to need some more information.
Could you provide details on the achievements and what you’ve set up to have them earned? Hoping to maybe see a “flaw” in the flow or trigger memory of other reported issues.
If necessary, would it be possible for me to get an admin account temporarily to see what I can find out on my own?

I have re-activated the plugin.
I have the badges set up:
1 Mobile Thing (First Badge)
Earned by Completing Steps. Must comment on a specific post (107) one time.
5 Mobile Thing (2nd badge) is set they must complete all the steps including posting on 5 steps:
Comment on Specific Post 107
Comment on Specific Post 109
Comment on Specific Post 111
Comment on Specific Post 113
Comment on Specific Post 115
Only 107,109 and 111 have been posted at this point.

Not yet, but I know I need to soon. I need to wrap my head around everything provided so far and gather up the proper login information again from my email.
Seeing what I can find out tonight
Right now, it looks like the 2 users mentioned have the exact same achievements earned. Not sure if that’s coincidental or on purpose.
I do have to believe it’s related to https://github.com/opencredit/badgeos/issues/353 which I haven’t determined the reasoning for yet, but probably should really dive into soon.

The two are working through the class at the same pace -so they are a good example of the issue. I have turned off BadgeOS for now but let me know when you start to explore the issue on github (I subscribed for updates on the issue at GitHub).

From what I recall last night, the issue was presenting itself for awhile at first, but then it stopped double awarding, which has me completely confused.
Sorry I haven’t been able to help out as much as I’d prefer.

Hi,
It didn’t really stop – but we don’t have any more badge levels until “Thing 5” – our blog post which will be posted on Monday.
So, the double badges happened to about 1/3 – 1/2 of the users who earned Badge 1.
Does this make sense?

What I meant by that is that it stopped occurring part way through my debugging and I couldn’t get it to happen again. Sorry for not being completely clear there.
