  • Hello!
    Lots of questions…

When you say you completely removed WP and completely reinstalled it, do you mean you deleted everything by FTP, and reuploaded it from a wordpress.zip archive gotten from wordpress.org ?
(I’ll assume it’s a yes, but I’m asking just in case)

Did you also make sure you had an emptied database ?
(that’s the great things when starting with a new blog, no worries about preserving parts of the data 😀 )

Did you tinker with permissions on the folders and files ? (Directories’ default ought to be 755 and files 644, all with the same ownership)

Did you try downloading a new theme from within the blog admin, from the internet, is that the same problem ?

Does your hosting account allow you to browse your apache error log ?
(Well, if you’re linux-hosted of course, I have no ideas how it would be called with other hosting forms)
There should be, hopefully, usable clues in there…
