One page WordPress themes
-
Alright so. I’m using the Onetake theme and its one of those themes where you simply enter the content into the Theme Options under “Sections” and what not and your done. Because its done in the Theme Options i’m not technically making a page. Instead I have a blank “Home” page as a static page that the theme covers almost. But no content is on the actual page in the back end.
So my questions are.
Will the content written there be readable by Google?
I am unable to use SEO tool on the Theme Options; Does SEO even apply to it?
Will my site maps pick up on the page as being useful to mention to Google?
And if the entire theme is screwing my SEO, Sitemaps, and Google search engines.
Do I need to get a new theme or is there a short code I can import into the theme’s section to pull content from Pages I create into the 1 page theme’s style.
Here’s the site and if you can help i’d appreciate it!
