What settings are you using for the achievement? How are you checking whether it does anything or not?

I have tested with a basic achievement whose only step is to send a friendship request and I’m earning both the step created, as well as the whole achievement associated. It appears to be working for me.

    Earned by: Completing Steps

    Max Earning: 1

    Required Steps:

Require: Community Activity –> Send a Friendship Request
    1 time(s)

And I have the Badgeos Congratualtions Modal plugin, so I get a pop up for accepting a friend request and a couple other community triggers, but not Send a Friend Request. Also, I checked the back end to see if there was a point change or achievement given in the user profile and none was.

Have you tried it without the Congrats plugin installed/active as well?

Also curious if this test user has earned it before but then you deleted the achievement for testing purposes. The max earning value would prevent re-earning things, if I recall right, as that’s also stored on user meta, in a different meta key.

I tested your concerns above just now. I disabled the Congrats plugin and it did not work. I also created a new user and tested the trigger, and again it did not work. Strange.

Accept a Request, Join a Group, Activate Account, Post to Activity Stream, and Upload a Profile Picture all work perfectly. Those are the only other Community Triggers I am using.

Frustrating when it’s working fine for me, but not for you, as well.

Is this a site that’s on a server I’d be able to access, and if yes, are you willing to let me log in as an admin to see what may be going on?

    Thread Starter Bucky

    Michael,

Yes the website is accessible. I can set you up an admin account and get you the log in info. You can then go ahead and do your thing. This is something I am currently working on in private, so how can I get the log in information to you for your eyes only?

    Michael,

I didn’t want you to think I was ignoring your response. I have had a slightly higher priority issue come up with a potential business partner. I am currently dealing with that. However, this is obviously something that is also very important because its going to be a common achievement. When I rap things up on the business end I hope it would be okay to contact you then. Shouldn’t take long, hopefully just a few days. Thanks for the help so far, I have saved your email address.
