Does this mean you used, “Lost your password?” at /wp-admin?

I can’t even get to the log in page. When I go to the web address, I am getting the error.

    The Page Cannot be Found

is a 404 error. It could mean your DNS has not propagated yet.

When did this start? What changes did you make?

This site has been propagated for months and I haven’t done anything to it recently, but regardless, how do I get in now to fix it?

Do a whois for the site and see what that says.

Also using ftp or the file manger provided by your host, rename the plugins folder plugins_old.

I should rename the plugins folder within the wpadmin folder? I tried that and still getting the same error:

The server at wordpress.hardcopy-online.com can’t be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website’s name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.

I should rename the plugins folder within the wpadmin folder? I tried that and still getting the same error:

No, it is in the wp-content folder.

The original post said a 404 error but the one above is DNS issue. This does not resolve. Is this the site you are working on? This, hardcopy-online.com does resolve but it is not a WP site.

I renamed the one in the wp-content folder. The other address is the current site which they are still using while I am working on a new site in WP for them. They can’t have a site under construction due to the type of work they do. So I created a second site at wordpress.hardcopy-online.com.

    So what would you recommend?

I would contact the host and ask why you are getting this message.
[Fiddler] DNS Lookup for "wordpress.hardcopy-online.com" failed. No such host is known
