• I have two WP (self-hosted) installations on the same host and recently updated the host domain name. In one case, I did not reinstall WP, but just updated the name in General Settings. In the other case, I installed a new WordPress with new database.

On both sites, the original root domain name appears when shortcodes are generated (so Publicize to Twitter posts the incorrect domain as well).

Note too that my sites listed on https://wordpress.com/me/account are the original and obsolete names.

The sites are http://tom.spiganin.com and http://workplaceinsiders.org. Short codes generated point to http://tom.johnandrewrankin.com and http://johnandrewrankin.com, respectively. All three domain names are ‘parked’ on the host.

I installed and ran a search and replace tool and corrected many obsolete links, but there are four entries in the wp_options table that are serlaiized and can’t be changed. This is where the original domain name shows up.

    How can I resolve this?

    Thanks,

    Tom
