For any new posts:
Settings -> Discussion, un-tick ‘Allow people to post comments on new articles ‘.
For existing posts:
Posts -> (Select All) -> Bulk Actions -> Edit -> Comments -> Select ‘Do not allow’ -> Update
HI, thanks for that. It’s not just the comments I want to delete, it’s the actual box itself which appears on each page. If you look at my website http://www.lovewords.biz you will see what I mean, there’s a big box on the bottom of each page. Any ideas?
Follow the steps above, it will remove the box 🙂

Then there must be a setting in the theme options, or it’s hardcoded into a template I guess.
Also, I’m getting malware alerts for your site in both Google Chrome and Safari. I’m not sure you’ll get many visitors while that’s in place…
