• Hey!

Some of the users on my multisite, has experienced that they can’t write new posts anymore, because their editor does not show up. The only thing they get when clicking “New Post”, is post options at the top and post title.

This is only happening to a few users on the site.. I have tried to deactivate all plugins, and tried to switch theme.

I am using Pro Sites from WPMU Dev on the network and it seems pretty random which blogs that have this problem..
I am not using plugin to control permissions, and all users are administrators.

See the image link. Anyone who can help?

  • Have you asked the people who are having the problem what browser they are using?

If it is only happening to a few select people then it may be something on there end conflicting with something on your end.

Some are using Chrome and others Safari, i have also tried both, and none of them works on the blogs that have this problem.

I actually found the problem. I have the X theme, from theme forest installed, and also their plugin “X Shortcodes”. When i deactivate that plugin completely (by changing the name of the folder), or remove it from the server, the problem does not appear.

I still don’t know how to fix it, as I need the plugin for my mainsite to work..

    zzbeck – That’s not an image…

    Read http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors – I bet it’s a jquery conflict.

You should contact the plugin author about it.
