Can't see menu or tag items

When I go to Appearance>Menus, or Posts>tags, they both come up as empty lists. My page, of course, has been using the menu and tags for a very long time.
The menu is still totally functional, and I still see it under the options of setting which menu to be nav bar etc., but now I have no way to edit it. The same goes for the tags— I can still use and go the url of the tags– I can even see the tag cloud–, but I can’t see the list of my tags or edit them.
