Need advice from Amazon associates.
-
I’m planning a website that will make use of Amazon links, images and buttons. I want to insert a list of products inside a post/page. I know I can do this manually, but I’d prefer shortcodes or Amazon codes where I can edit a source file (like check for outdated or unavailable products) separate from the post/page itself. So instead of “item 1, item 2, item 3” it would be “list 1” here and “list 2” there. Sort of like having a linked CSS file instead of an embedded CSS file. I think it would be more code-efficient and also make the site more manageable as it grows (as hopefully it will).
Further, in the list of items, I want the product info, link and image plus a short description or review by me.
Can anyone tell me the best way to do this? I have seen many Amazon plugins but I’m not sure which one is closest to what I want to achieve.
Also if I insert Amazon wish lists, will it be anonymous? And will the buyer be able to buy the product(s) for themselves (instead of me, of course0?
