Customizing Language Switcher Menu's Title

    I manually added new language to my site by uploading the .mo for the language.
    My question is that currently, the language switcher is displaying:
    “language: British flag” for English, “language: Japanese flag” for Japanese, “语言: Chinese flag” for Chinese language. I want to make it “言語: Japanese flag” for Japanese.

    Can anyone please help guide me to the file that I need to edit to change the translation of “language” so that it correctly display?

    It is in lang/qtranslate-xx_XX.po/mo if you have not yet figured it out.

    Please, submit your .po/mo files to our repository, so that other people can take advantage of it too. The easiest way from maintenance standpoint is to submit it as a pull request at GitHub. Alternatively, send it with attachment to qtranslateteam at gma il d co m. Other way is to upload it somewhere in public domain, like DropBox and give the link here.
