• Hi there,

I want to install my WordPress files in their own folder, not in the root. I want to give it a unique folder name that can’t be easily guessed and then hide that url so I’m the only one who knows the admin login url, etc. How do I make sure that search engines will index only the domain and its pages, but not the system folder? So like “my-wp-blog.com” instead of “my-wp-blog.com/secretfolder”? I know there’s a way to no-index author pages, but I don’t know how to do this with this one.
