    Hello,

I am running a test directory, as the Connections plugin I use on other websites is top heavy for this voluntary organisation.

    http://bopf.org.uk/wp_directory/

I have installed and configured the plugin as per your instructions, created categories and created a test Directory entry within one of them.

    1. I can see the entry in the All Listings page.
    2. I can Edit the page from there, but not by using the ‘Edit’ link on the page, when I am logged in as Admin.
    3. When I do go in to edit the page from the Listings dashboard screen (by clicking on ‘Edit’ under the age title in the list) I can access the page.
    4. When I try to view the page, either by using the menu link I have created to the page, or by going directly to the URL or by using the ‘View Page’ button in the editing screen, I get “Page not found” and yet the URL displayed in the address bar is correct

I am using the Tempera theme and have tried deactivating all the plugins, but still the system comes up “Page not found”

Are there any known conflicts with other plugins?

BTW, I have had to fill out the Welcome and Terms & Conditions section three times,it doesn’t seem to save.

And I am finding that the Listings are created in a different directory

And the Google Map facility does not pick up the address.

  • Hello GeaVox,

I`ve had the same issue. The problem is from permalinks.

Change to default and it will work just fine.

    Good luck

Thank you lucaci.m it certainly worked, now I just need to find out how that will affect other plugins, but I am so very grateful to you for taking the time to respond.

Yep! Just as I thought…. I have to choose between BuddyPress nad bbPress or WP Directory. As the website is meant for community engagement, I am afraid the first two win out.

    Shame, it’s a nice plugin.

    Thanks again Luca
