Is there a way that I could have disabled the formatting on comments…?
Probably one of your plugins. There was a mentioning about some smiley thing (never remember, since never used them).
Deactivate your plugins one by one until you find the culprit.
This problem is caused by the More Smiles Plugin.

My comments at http://www.chrisvschris.com are missing formatting.. does anybody have any thoughts on why this might have happened? Basically the biggest problem is that there are not any line breaks anymore.
