backend add-media select-gallery sort-order-alphabetic

    hi,
    in wp backend
    “add media” – button opens window
    klicking nextgen Gallery in the left part of this window, shows a field to select a (the right) gallery…

    as I have to find a gallery within 100+ galleries, how can I have the select list sorted alphabetically (and not by ID)

    in addition:
    if I’d like to first select an album and then a gallery…

    it just shows galleries and no albums?

    Any rough idea of when this kind of basic feature of sorting galleries/albums to pick single pics might be available through this feature request?

    6 months?

    2 years?

    @designguide – We try to address these Feature Request ideas based on their feasibility and more importantly the community interest in having them implemented.

    Basically the more “votes” a Feature Request gets the better chance it will be implemented and the sooner it will be considered.

    NextGEN Gallery Image Chooser – plugin
    does exactly what I was looking for.
    great addition to nextgen

    Hi Cais,
    I’ve created many albums, subalbums and galleries the last month and have to add a lot more…
    but
    update to Version 2.0.74 broke the
    NextGEN Gallery Image Chooser – plugin – functionality

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method nggdb::find_all_album() in /www/htdocs/v092087/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery-image-chooser/nextgen-ic.php on line 145

    Do you have a solution?

    Image Chooser Plugin has been fixed by plugin author umertin immediately…
    …luckily…

    may be it would be a good idea for nextgen to pre-distribute plugin updates to external add-on authors for review?

    @designguide – It’s good to know the third-party plugin was updated. We make every effort to provide a public beta version of NextGEN Gallery before any major release to allow these third-party plugin authors time to review and update as needed.
