Menu in backend disaappeared

    Hello,

    I have a problem with Firefox Browser.

    Yesterday suddenly the backend of my wordpress applikation disappeared. Also I can not edit my posts anymore. Only the profile and dashboard are visible in the backend.

    I didn’t make any chances in plugins or computer software.

    I did an DNS flush on my computer and I emptied the cache but this didn’t help to bring back the menu into the backend.

    Using another browse like Chrome or IE is ok, here the backend works normally.

    Using Firefox on another netwwork or devise is also ok.

    Could somebody help me with this problem? May it help to uninstall Firefox and install it again?

    Hi bd,

    thank your for your suggestion.

    I tried both ways…Firefox in safe mode and Firefox refreshed…but the menu is still disappeared in the backend and I can not edit posts or pages.

    Hi bd,

    thank you very much for coming back to this issue.

    Unfortunately I couldn’t find a solution for this problem.

    The menu in the wordpress backend is still not available and I can not edit any posts.

    I have also made a new installation of Firefox but this didn’t help also.

    Something is strange here…for example I can also not import my bookmarks from Firefox to Chrome.

    But I will continue to find the reason and a solution for this issue.

    I will keep you updated here.

    Last update…

    I have just complete uninstalled the Firefox and I have deleted the Firefox Folder completely.

    Then I have made a complete new installation of Firefox and now the menu in the backend is available again..

    So I mark this issue as resolved.
