Custom Permalink and template hierarchy

Hi,
I have a problem with custom permalink:
– if I use the predefined one (http://www.mysite.come/?p=123) wordpress use my single-custompost.php file;
– if I use custom one (http://www.mysite.come/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/) wordpress does not my single-custompost.php file.

WordPress template hierarchy seems to work only using predefined permalink.

Do you have some tips for me?
