one admin, multiple blogs

    I have a regular installation of WordPress (NOT wordpress MU) and I want to set up multiple blogs (max 5 blogs) with only one installation of wordpress. This way, webspace can be greatly minimized and upgrading would be fairly easy.

    So, how do I maintain multiple blogs under one admin panel? Preferably, each blog has its own theme.

    I did some homework and most of them requires a bit of fiddling with the wordpress core files — something which I want to avoid.

    Is there an easier way? Like just an ordinary plugin
