    Hi there

    I have set up a pop up for my home page but I was wondering if there was a way to link a button to the pop up. In other words if a person enters the site and sees the pop up, closes it and then perhaps wants to reopen it at some stage by clicking a button on the site, can they do this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Also is there a way of making the pop up only appear once… So Ive set it to display on the homepage but dont want it to display if a client views other pages and goes back to the home page.

    Thanks!

    Hey ABosCT, Short answer Yes & Yes. I believe this should answer all of those questions. Getting Started – Opening A Popup.

    Hope this helps, if you have any further questions let me know. If not please take a moment to rate and review the plugin and or support

    Thanks for your quick reply!

    The button link worked, so thanks for that! Am I correct in assuming that to have the pop up not display again while the person is on the site is the cookie time setting?

    Correct. But that cookie time only works for auto open. Basically if auto open is enabled, when it goes to open after delay, it checks for the cookie. If the cookie is there and not expired it doesn’t open.

    Hope this helps.

    Yes thanks that helped a lot! Last question: I have a form in the pop up. Is there a way to close the pop up after the form has been submitted?

    Thanks again!

    Hi

    Thanks again for your quick response. I tried the process in the link you provided and it did work but I am not a script / web expert so Im a bit confused. After I saved the settings and checked that it worked, the following was at the bottom of my browser window:

    /*]]>*/

    Not sure what that means…

    Sorry for the constant questions! 🙂

    Hey ABosCT, sounds like you left the auto format option on 🙂 Ran into that myself when documenting it, thought I outlined checking that box.
