412 Error when trying to save settings

    Using Events Manager 5.5.4 and WP 4.0.1, and Safari browser. I’m a general user, not a developer, but I’m pretty good at figuring things out.

    Every time I try to save settings (even if I haven’t changed any settings, I receive the following:
    ————-Begin Error Message—————————–
    412 Error

    Your request got filtered out due to possible security issues.

    One or more things in your request were suspicious (defective request header, invalid cookies, bad parameters)

    If you think you did nothing wrong:

    try again with a different browser
    avoid any evil characters inside the request url
    If you are the owner of the website, you can consider revising the rules of the mod_security module or turning it off from your Web Hosting Control Panel.

    Searched the forums, and don’t see anything on this error.
    Why is this occurring, and how do I fix it?

    sorry haven’t experience this error before but maybe you can try it again and/or try to temporarily deactivate other plugin or theme.
