global gallery problem

i am using the touchfolio theme with multiple image galleries. i just created a new gallery and i want the images to “fit in area.” however, i can’t change it, it just goes to “default (from global gallery settings).” but in my theme area i have the default set to “fit in area.”

the weird thing is, all my other galleries do look good and the images “fit in area.” it’s just this one gallery they look weird and are really big and you can’t see the whole image.

any reason this would happen to just one of my many galleries?
