Hmm, that is quite strange. It only includes that file if the Class ReCaptcha does not exist. It would be strange if the class ReCaptchaResponse already would exist, but not ReCaptcha.
What other plugins do you use? And what is your theme?
I use a theme name Risen (http://stevengliebe.com/wp-playground/risen/)
These plugins are activated:
-contact form 7
-hide comments
-limit login attemps
-nextgen Gallery
-optoion Frameworks
-Really Simple Captcha
-Regenerate Thumbnails
-Standout Color Boxes and Buttons
Hmm, none of those plugins have the reCAPTCHA library.
Apparently the theme has a contact form with it. Could you maybe send the theme, or part of it to marcel @ timelord.nl?
Hmm, I see similar problems with the Avada theme, that uses an old version of recapthcalib. There is a class ReCaptchaResponse, but not ReCaptcha. So the test in my plugin fails.
On second note, there’s no conflict with any of my themes that include reCAPTCHA.
Could you test with current SVN? It might work around the issue, allthough it is probably not the right way yet.
I would still be very much interested in a copy of your theme.
