We have two sites that are nearly identical, one for production and one for testing. I noticed today that switching tabs does not work on the production site. When I click for example Custom Code in wp-admin/admin.php?page=bulletproof-security/admin/core/options.php, the main content area seems to go blank.

The issue seems to be that the element bps-tabs-6 still has opacity: 0 on the live site after clicking. Removing that attribute through Firefox’s Element Inspector works as a workaround. On test site everything works well as ever.

Console doesn’t show any errors or warnings to hint at why could this be happening. All the same plugins and themes are active with the same versions and last full sync was done so recently that I can’t think of anything that would have been changed afterwards that could have an effect. If the issue was with the test site we’d just overwrite it with the production version, but since it’s the production site having the issue we’re more motivated to look for the cause.

    Any ideas?

Seems to have been a temporary browser issue.

I had a similar issue with a completely unrelated website, where some content areas failed to load. After closing a few tabs, issues disappeared. Marking as resolved as this mysterious occurrence may not have anything to do with BPS.
