Does it work with CDN?
-
Hello,
Very nice plugin. But does it work with CDN? my files now are cdn.xxx./js/..
What will be the new file?
Thanks!

Autoptimize has it’s proper CDN-settings (for PULL type CDN’s), there’s additional info in the FAQ.
hope this helps,
frankThanks for the fast answer. So basically I have to edit the options.php file? because I already use it with WP SUPER CACHE.
no, that would be overly complex, wouldn’t it? 😉
there’s an autoptimize configuration-screen under the settings-menu, CDN is in there.
frank
It would 😉
Our website: http://www.f1zone.net/news/ we did everything and CDN was: cdn.f1zone.net/news but when everything is enabled the page was blank (without css but with images).
We disabled it now. What can we do?
Anyway, I love plugins with support. So many thanks!
as far as CDN is concerned; just put “http://s3.f1zone.net/news/” in there and all should be well (assuming it is a pull-type CDN, AO does not support push CDN).
concerning the blank page;
1. have a look at the troubleshooting part of the FAQ to see how to proceed.
2. is the page entirely blank, or just unstyled?
3. do you have a non-prod where you can test & I can have a look?frank
Hello.
I think I found out the problem. Maybe because HTML was enabled?
Anyway, I installed the plugin on another website (same theme). And it’s working great I feel it’s better now.
But when you look at the page source, you see an empty space at the top. What is that? and how to fix it?
Is the plugin working for my website? I didn’t enable the advanced settings, just ticked 2 boxes and boom.
Thanks 😉
Also I found a problem:
If you go to the homepage/single pages. I have a plugin. But it’s taking forever to load which doesn’t seem very good. What can I do to fix that?
Hi BissWordPress;
Autoptimize indeed is working on that site. The blank lines in there are probably due to links to individual CSS- and JS-files being replaced by the Autoptimized ones. Regarding the plugin; have a look at the FAQ and specifically the part about troubleshooting (you’ll need to identify the JS-files associated with that particular plugin and exlude those from being optimized (and if they depend on jQuery, you might have to exclude jquery as well)).hope this helps,
frankadditionally; when ticking the “optimize HTML”-box, does the page turns blank entirely, or is it “just” unstyled?
frank
Thanks a lot.
About the blank page it was about unstyled. Without CSS.
Ok I removed ‘HTML” and now it’s working on the other website.
We have a gallery at the bottom of the website. The code of it is in the header but looking at the source, I couldn’t find the code at all. And you can see arrows in that gallery. How can I exclude that?
Here’s the code of that gallery from header.php
Here’s the picture of the problem: http://i.imgur.com/GmLlcWt.png
try adding excluding “stepcarousel” to the comma separated exclusion-list.
hope this helps,
frankThanks Frank,
I did. But it didn’t get any better. But worse!
Please check: http://www.f1zone.net/news/
Bottom of the website.
and if they depend on jQuery, you might have to exclude jquery as well
so maybe you’ll have to exclude jquery as well 🙂
It works now 😉
I have this list now – is it right?
s_sid,smowtion_size,sc_project,WAU_,wau_add,comment-form-quicktags,edToolbar,ch_client,nonce,post_id,stepcarousel,jqueryThanks a lot for your help 😉
