Animating a page transition

Hello all. I have an idea, but not sure of the best method. I want to make a home page that is interactive to the visitor, as follows.

There will be a door with a knocker. You click on the knocker and the knocker moves and appears to knock on the door. Then a little sliding door opens, within the bigger door, and a mouse appears after the little sliding door opens. Then click on the door knob, and it is a link to a view inside his home. On this page there are clickable icons that will link to the individual site pages (store, news, about us etc.)

The background will be art, and the icons separate. And anything animated will be separate.
Is this sort of navigation or behavior possible?
Is there a plugin that will allow this to happen?
